Reservations and Policies
We are happy to have you staying with us! We have many lodging options to accommodate most travelers wanting to get the most out of a Black Hills vacation.
When making a reservation: It’s the Guests’ responsibility to provide their TOTAL equipment length in order to select a site that fits the RV, vehicle and tow vehicle. LCCR may not be able to accommodate if all equipment is not provided, resulting in an invalid, non-refundable reservation. Call with any questions at 605-219-9517.
Cancellation Policy
Season: May 1st – Oct. 8th*, *Weather Permitting
Independence Day: June 26th – July 5th
Sturgis Rally: July 29th – August 15th
Cancellation Policy: Cancellations requested 31 days before the reservation will receive a full refund, minus a $35 service fee. Cancellations made 15-30 days before reservation date will receive 50% refund, minus $35 service fee. Cancellations requested less than 15 days before reservation are non-refundable. All cancellations MUST be requested in writing to “crookedcreekreservations@email.com“. No refund for our designated Sturgis rally dates, full payment due at time of booking. All Independence Day reservations must be paid in full and are non-refundable after June 3rd. No refunds for reservations made under the Early Bird Special ( July 15th – October 15th of prior camping season ) 7 Night Minimum, Paid in FULL at the time of booking.
Trip Insurance: We strongly recommend purchasing trip insurance through an online, third party provider.
Non-Registered Day Guest Policy
Due to COVID 19 our Day Non Registered Guest Policy is suspended for the safety of all registered guests. Rare exceptions may be made for extending circumstances upon request and screening by resort management.
If an exception is granted all Day Guests who are not registered guests are not allowed on the premises from 10 PM to 8 AM. After checking with the office, day guests must pay a day-use fee of $5 per person per day. This includes offsite attendees for family reunions and group events held at the campground.
Extra Vehicle Policy
RV Sites, Cabins and Lodge Rooms are designed for 1 vehicle included in the price, additional vehicles must be parked in the overflow lot by the office and will occur a $5 day charge.
LCCR has a maximum of 2 plated vehicles per site (any combination of 2 – RV, tow Vehicle, trailer, ATV\UTV or motorcycle) . Additional vehicles (MC, ATV\UTV) must be either be parked in or on the trailer to be on the site or in the overflow area.
RV sites that are larger (Pull thru and some back ins) may allow an extra vehicle if parked totally on the pad/gravel along with their RV. Trailers used for hauling ATV/UTV’s, Motorcycles etc. must be parked in the overflow lot at a rate of $10 per stay up to 7 days.
Larger RV sites may park a cargo trailer on their site if it along with their tow vehicle fits on the gravel portion of the site. Motorhomes reserving a site long enough for both the motorhome and trailer are allowed on one site.
Deposit Requirements
Deposit requirements for each unit rented: 50% of total cost is due at time of booking. The remainder will be billed 15 days before arrival. If booking less than 15 days ahead of time, full payment is due at time of booking.
Sturgis Bike Rally: Full payment is due at time of booking and is non-refundable.
Pet Policy
The following breeds are NOT allowed at LCCR; Chow, Doberman, Rottweiler, Pitbull, Presa Canario. Any dogs that bark excessively or are aggressive will be asked to be removed from the property immediately, voiding any refund. ALL dogs must be leashed at all times, LCCR has an off-leash dog park located on the SE corner of the property. LCCR allows a strictly enforced two dog maximum. We discourage leaving pets in RV’s during the day unattended.

- Cabins – 3:00 p.m.
- Lodge – 3:00 p.m.
- Campground – 2:00 p.m.
Check-out time
(After a 15 minute grace period for checkout, guests will be charged a 1/2 day rate until 12:00 noon)
- Cabins – 9:45 a.m.
- Lodge – 9:45 a.m.
- Campground – 10:30 a.m.
Please note, we cannot make Exceptions to our Check-In and Check-Out Policies due to the time required to meet and exceed the Chinese COVID-19 Required Disinfecting Process, we appreciate your understanding!
Public and Legal Notice
Every attempt has been made to post accurate and complete information; however, Larsson’s Crooked Creek Resort reserves the right to correct or amend the information displayed here that may have been posted in error. Larsson’s Crooked Creek Resort is a new business venture as of September 6, 2019, and is not a continuation of the former Crooked Creek Resort as only the assets (including reservations and accounts receivable) were purchased. The former Crooked Creek Resort closed for business on 9/05/2019 and all obligations and liabilities ended at this time. CCR is not responsible for any actions, commitments, or obligations financial or otherwise associated with the former Crooked Creek Resort, and cannot refund any monies paid to CCR.
